The Astrient Foundation works to achieve its mission through five programs: the Astrient Fellowship Program, Astrient Scholar Award Program, the Women's Initiative, the Educational Outreach Program, and by direct support of organizations involved in causes consanguineous to the Foundation’s mission.
To apply for the Astrient Fellowship or Scholar Award, register on our website by clicking the “Membership” link. After you have completed the registration process, go to the "organizer" section of your account and select "my forms" from the side menu. Next, select "start a form" to see the list of available forms. Find the form which corresponds to the program which you are interested in and select the "start this form" link at the bottom of the form description.

| The Astrient Fellowship |
|
The Astrient Fellowship program provides students with the opportunity to participate in projects designed to ameliorate or solve concrete issues facing developing or economically disadvantaged communities. From technology adoption to equitable globalization, the Foundation's projects are designed to foster socially responsible entrepreneurship to improve developing communities.
Each academic year, the Foundation’s selection committee selects up to three students as Astrient Fellow-elects. Fellow-elects participate in one or more of the Astrient Foundation’s research, policy or software technology projects for approximately eight months. Fellow-elects will receive stipends throughout their fellowship term. Fellow-elects who successfully complete the fellowship program will receive an award and will become an Astrient Foundation Fellow.

| The Astrient Scholar Award |
|
The Astrient Scholar Award is a cash award designed to help students who demonstrate acumen or potential in the areas of social responsibility and entrepreneurship. In addition to having strong moral character and ethical integrity, Astrient Scholar Award recipients should posses an active interest in the application of technology and/or entrepreneurship to mitigate social problems.
Each academic year, the Foundation’s selection committee selects up to four students as Astrient Scholars. The selection committee selects one to four students each academic year with one-half (1/2) of the award distributed in the fall semester and the remaining half of the award distributed in the spring semester.
Students who wish to apply for the Astrient Scholarship Award must satisfy all of the following requirements:
1) Minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale; 2) Must be a full-time rising sophomore, junior or senior student, enrolled or accepted to Hampton University, Columbia University, North Carolina A...

| Women's Initiative |
|
Women's Initiative The Women's Initiative provides the rare opportunity for such inter-generational connectivity and networking between such women and acts as the oft-missing bridge needed to accelerate the growth of female-led and owned companies. The Women's Initiative currently has two programs, which facilitate its mission of promoting the development and growth of female business leaders and professionals. These programs are the Women's Forum and Mentorship Program.
Women's Forum The Women's Forum is a component of the Women's Initiative, which strives to inspire and encourage the development of future female business leaders of tomorrow by connecting them with today's creative, inspiring and highly regarded female leaders.
